I spent last weekend in my home town of Melbourne.
I drove across with my new dog Eva (Aye-vah) so that my parents could meet her. I performed Friday and Saturday night at The Comedy Club, one of my favourite venues. Doug Chappel hosted the show with massive energy and Tom Gleeson (The Australian Fastbowler) was headlining. They're both true gentlemen, but if Doug offers you a drink and says that he is a doctor, you should answer "no". After advice from my lawyers, I take back my previous statement. You should say "yes". Crowds at The Comedy Club are always great, and their energy on both nights made sure that everyone had good night. Family and friends came along, and the other people at my mum's table were clearly informed that I was her son. |
