Greg Fleet and the word "awesome" |

I performed at The Comic's Lounge in Melbourne supporting Greg Fleet.
At the end of my set, Greg Fleet came back stage and said the nicest thing, and then took it back - kind of. He said "That was awesome!" and then he reconsidered... "Well maybe not awesome... because that would be to say that you are not usually that good, but it was very good."Make of that what you will. I was Hi-5'ing myself on the inside. It is always a buzz when people take the effort after a show to compliment you on your performance. If you see a performer that you really enjoy, don't be afraid to tell them. I know that sometimes performers might fob you off instead of receiving the compliment, but I think many of them don't know how to accept the compliment. |
